Services
Sports therapy & injury assessment
We know that injuries are an unfortunate part of sport and everyday life. With high quality sports therapy and rehabilitation, we'll give you the support you need to get back on track.
Through full sport injury assessment, we aim to diagnose a client’s injury and apply evidence based treatment programmes to aid in your recovery. As well, we are strong believers that prevention is better than cure, so we are advocates of prehabilitation programmes and sports massage. We aim to aid a client’s recovery all the way back to full functional fitness or competition in the quickest and safest way possible, whilst educating the client about their own injury and the process they are going through. |
Sports massage
There are many benefits of massage. Sports massage and deep tissue massage can be used with athletes to aid recovery and repair with removal of waste products, as well as helping remodel scar tissue. This is also aided by stimulating circulation increasing the blood flow to a specific area.
Massage is also a great way to help soothe muscular pain and help an individual to relax, so it is also a perfect way for those who live hectic lifestyles to recover from a long week at work or following a hard gym session. Sports Massage can be applied: - Pre and Post match or at sporting events. - During an event. - At one of our clinics. |
Strength & Conditioning
We supply a variety of S&C services including strength and conditioning programs. We can formulate individual S&C programs following a screening session. These programs are tailored to the athlete and their needs and periodised around their competition calendar.
Seminars and group S&C sessions are also available, as well as team and individual fitness testing. |
Pitch side first aid
We offer pitch side first aid for a wide range of sporting events.
If your club is in need of first aid cover for regular matches, training sessions or one-off events, we can help. |
Medical acupuncture
Medical acupuncture is a very effective treatment of myofascial trigger points, neck, lower back pain and tension related headaches. It has a number of physiological effects that promote pain relief and healing.
Medical acupuncture has a localised effect increasing blood flow to that specific area. It also stimulates your central nervous system to release hormones that aid in the reduction of pain. |

Easily one of the best physios around, Michael is always quick to understand and diagnose my injuries and implement practical options that work alongside my competitive sporting career. With a strong knowledge in S&C as well, he is my go to when needing advice on how to train and compete optimally, all the while ensuring the injuries are still looked after.

Michael has treated me for a number of injuries over the past 4-5yrs. Every time he’s been really quick to identify the underlying issue and provided excellent hands on rehab and longer term plan to not only overcome the injury but to be able to return to competitive sports (karate or running). He’s also helped me to manage injuries to maintain a reasonable level of training ahead of some more important events. I couldn’t recommend more highly.

Mike is one of the very best physios around. However, what truly sets in him apart is the fact that he is also a fully fledged S&C coach of high calibre, an elite level athlete Martial artist, who has competed for GB and is also a specialist in dealing with young athletes. This is a unique combination of skills at the highest level I have seen in no other person. This gives him an full perspective on training and injury which is sadly missing from most physios or S&C specialists. He is my go-to man for both myself and for my teenage son, a promising sportsmen
